Ingredients

Gram flour(Kadalapodi/Besan)-2 cups
Onions - 2 nos
Green chillies - 2 nos
Tomato - 1 no
Garlic pods - 2 nos
Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Salt - As reqd

For seasoning:

Oil - 3 tbp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds(Jeerakam) - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Preparation Method

​

1)Roast the gram flour in a pan till it gets golden brown.

2)Cut onions, tomatoes and garlic into small pieces.

3)Heat oil in a pan.

4)Add all the seasoning ingredients. When they splutter, add chillies, curry leaves, garlic and turmeric powder.

5)Add tomatoes and fry for a few minutes.

6)Lastly, add besan, chilly powder, salt and little water. Stir continuously with no lumps and simmer for few more minutes.

7)Garnish with coriander leaves.

:- Serve with Bhakari(jowar roti).
