Sweet Pongal
Ingredients

Cane Sugar – 400 gms
Ghee – 100 gms
Rice – 4 cups
Saffron – a pinch
Milk – ½ litre
Cashewnuts –10 gms

​

Method :

​

1. In a heated vessel add ghee to the vessel ,cashewnuts , then add cane sugar
2.Wait until the sugar carmelises
3.Add the milk let the milk boil
4. Add the rice , and let it cook, reduce the flame and let the rice cook

Then add the saffron
