Spicy Beef Salad
Ingredient :

1/2 pound of boneless sirloin steak, cut into thin 2" long strips
1 tablespoons apple juice
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoons sugar
1 medium onion, sliced
6 mushrooms, sliced
1 bag of relatively plain salad mix
2 roma tomatoes

Dressing:
2 cloves pressed garlic
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons minced gingerroot
1 teaspoon seasame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Method :

Mix the sherry, soy sauce, and sugar and marinate the beef slices. The recipe called for them to be marinated for at least 30 minutes, but I am impatient and so I always use my Vacu Vin Vacuum Instant Marinater to marinate meats faster. After the meat is done marinating, stir-fry the beef, onion, and mushrooms until the meat is cooked.

Fill a medium bowl for each person with salad mix. Place the stir fried beef, onions, and mushrooms on top. Cut a roma tomato into fourths and place as shown. Mix up the dressing and pour over the salad to taste. Serves 2.

Pour one third of the milk mixture over the first cake layer. Put the second layer of cake on
top of the milk mixture and once again pour 1/3 of the milk mixture over it. Arrange the
final cake layer and pour the remaining milk mixture over it. Cover the entire cake with the
frosting recipe that follows. Refrigerate until serving.
