Lemon Rice (Chitranna)
Ingredients


Rice 1 cup
Water 2 cups
Oil 2 t/s
Muster seeds 1t/s
Green Chilies 2
White urad dal 1/2 t/s
Chana dal 1/2 t/s
Turmeric Powder1/4 t/s
Peanuts 1/2 cups
Coconut grated half cup
Lemon juice 4 t/s
Chopped onion 1
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste


Method :


Prepare rice in a cooker and keep aside.
Heat oil or ghee in a pan
Add muster seeds when it splits, add green chilies,
After one minute add urad dal, chana dal, peanuts , turmeric , and onion chopped.
After 3 minutes when onion become brown in color add prepared rice to the pan.
Mix well and add lemon juice, coriander leaves, curry leaves, and grated coconut to it.
Add salt to taste and mix it well.
You can eat this with curds also.
