Fried mountain cheese
Ingredients :

400g of Monte Veronese DOP 'a latte intero' (whole milk),
12 slices of bread 'a cassetta',
1 egg,
milk,
1 spoonful of flour,
salt,
pepper,
olive oil

Method :

​

Slice the cheese and place each piece on 6 slices of bread. Over each slice place the remaining pieces of bread to create individual sandwiches.

Beat the egg with the milk and flavor with salt. Pull each sandwich through the flour placed on a plate, then again through the egg mixture to cover well.

Fry each in the boiling olive oil and serve hot.
