Date and Lemon Chutney
Ingredients

​

4 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 4 tbsp. water 225 g (8 oz.) pitted dates A small piece of fresh coconut 1 tbsp. fresh coriander ½ tsp. fennel seeds 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. fresh ginger Black pepper to taste

 

Method :

​

1. Finely chop all the ingredients;
2. Crush the fennel seeds by rubbing them vigorously between the palms of your hands;
3. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients; season;
4. Serve immediately or refrigerate in a tightly closed jar for up to 3 days.
