Cossack Cherry Relish
Ingredient :

1 1/2 lb Cherries fresh & pitted
2 ea Apple peeled & minced
2/3 c Apple vinegar
1/2 ts Cloves powdered
1 c Onion chopped
1 ts Dry mustard
1 ts Cinnamon powdered
1 c Sugar packed firm

Method :
​
Put vinegar into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Add all other
ingredients. reduce heat to med-low and boil slowly for 45-mins. Be
sure to stir regularly while cooking.
Remove from heat, allow to cool for 1-2 hours. Place in a sealed
container & refrigerate. Very good with meat or poultry. Especially
good with pork or lamb.
