Break of Bread
Ingredients :

50 g yeast (25g if dry)
150 ml water
200 ml yoghurt
2 tbsp oil
salt
300 ml grated carrots
300 ml wholemeal flour
100 ml 3-grain flour
600 ml white flour

Method :

Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add yoghurt, oil, salt, carrots, wholemeal flour and 3-grain flour. Add the white flour a little at a time until the dough is firm and smooth. Knead the dough for 15 minutes. Leave the dough to rise for half an hour and divide it into about 20 even rolls. Put the rolls close together on a baking sheet, forming any shape you wish. The dough will “grow” together to form a break apart bread during baking. Leave to rise for another 15 minutes and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes. Serve whole so that each participant in the meal can break of pieces of the bread.
