Chutney Powder (pudi)
Ingredients

Chana Dal - 2 cups
Urad dal - 1 cup
Turmeric root - 1
Curry leaves - 2 strings
Tamarind - little
Dry coconut - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 t/s
Chili - 4-5
Mustard seeds - 1/2 t/s
Hing - 1 pinch
Salt as desired

Method :


Heat little oil Fry chana and urad dal until red,
Fry curry leaves, hing and Red chilies in oil and keep aside,
Add salt, tamarind, turmeric, salt to the above mixture,
Grind everything in blender,
Add dry grated coconut and mix well,
Heat oil and put mustard seeds,
Pour this seasoning into the ground mixture
Mix well and store in a dry container,
You can keep this for many days
You can use this as side dish with Chapati, Roti , Dosa and rice.
