Bisibelle Bath
Ingredients

 

Rice 2 cups
Toor dal 1 1/2 cup
Ghee 1 cup
Red chilies 4 -5
Coriander seeds 4 t/s
Black Pepper 1 t/s
Asafetida Powder 1/4 t/s
Methy 1t/s
Tamarind Juice 1/2 cup
Dry coconut grated 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder 1/4 t/s
Cumin seeds 1t/s
Cinnamon 1 t/s
Cloves 1/2 t/s
Chana Dal 1 t/s
Mustard seeds 1 t/s
Kash kash (gasgase) 1 t/s
Curry leaves 1 spring
Salt to taste.

Method :

Take a big container, put toor dal with water , adding Turmeric and 2 t/s ghee into it and boil,
When the dal is half cooked, add rice into it and boil
Fry Separately chilies, coriander, chana dal, cinnamon , cloves, cumin seeds, pepper, hing(asafoetida,), kashkash, mustard seeds ,
Add dry coconut to this fried mixture and make a bisibellebath powder,
And add this powder to the boiling mixture, and add tamarind juice to it.
Put salt into it,
When rice is fully cooked take out from the stove,
Heat ghee 2 t/s add mustard seeds, chilies, hing and curry leaves make a seasoning,
Add this seasoning, Mix well.
Famous Mysore dish Bissibelle bath is ready to eat .
