​24 Hour Lettuce Salad

Yield: 8 Servings

Ingredients

​

1 Large head lettuce
1/4 Cup onion; diced fine
1/4 Cup celery; sliced thin
8 Oz Water chestnuts; sliced
11 Oz Frozen Peas; thawed
1 Cup Mayonnaise
3 Tbsp Sugar
8 Teaspoons Parmesan cheese
8 Teaspoons Bacon Bits

Method :

Shred lettuce in large serving bowl. Sprinkle next 3 ingredients over top in order and in layers.
Break peas apart and sprinkle all over. Spread on mayonnaise. Sprinkle on Sweet & Low.
Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate 24 hours.
Before serving, top with
bacon bits. Mix well.
